This is quite some change up in style from your other beats. I really enjoy this beat man, its got a great vibe - makes you feel so good. I love the subtle vocal sample you got at 1:56-2:01 and 3:02-3:06 etc.

Can't wait to hear the next beat! I love your work!

DJDureagon responds:

The vocal sample was subject to some controversy <_<. But i decided to put it in cuz well... it my song damnit. Thanks for being a fan.

Yo dude

Real good to hear some new music from you. Its been a while. Fresh, really digging the sample chops you got goin on. I like how you keep it simple enough for lyrics to be laced through. Good work my dude!

- P.

PoyzenJam responds:

Thanks P, good to hear from you again

Yo dawg

I'm about to pass out listening to this shit. So relaxing man. Perfect kinda jam to light up a blunt to and get lifted. I'm really diggin that transition at 1:32, very dope. I honestly can't come up with any criticism for this beat, because to me, this is perfection. Peace out.

Different to your usual style but this shit is hot. Sounds like some old school Outkast type ish. You should do more beats on this style man!

BlowinMoneyENT responds:

i plan to, i apreciate t. its ben a while for me. more oldskool underground types like this comin soon.

Fucking love it!

Sexy ass latin guitar with some smooth ass latin vocal samples over a hip hop beat! How can I leave some constructive criticism if there is nothing to criticize? Beat is perfection.

I'm really feeling this beat!

Like the dude below said, in no way is this dubstep/rapstep. Its a hip hop beat... heavy electronic influence, but definitely a hip hop beat. But lets not get carried away with the genre and talk about the music at hand:

Very unique hip hop beat, and I like how it still has the DJ Delinquent signature sound (particularly with the drums, which are on point) although you aimed to branch out and try something new - this is what good producers should be doing. I love hearing a beat and knowing who produced it because its got that defining element. You've created a brand of beat as DJ Delinquent and I dig it.

Very few reasons why it didn't score a 10 for me - too much reverb for my liking on the harder electronic sounds, I feel they should be tight and crisp. The blips and bloops sound good with that amount of reverb, but not the saws. Also, I found some of the vocal samples very cheesy. But thats just one man's opinion based on one man's own taste.

Keep doing your thing!

DJ-Delinquent responds:

i really needed to hear this

Yours and Mind Chambers comments are the best I've ever received on NewGrounds.

I will try again sometime soon

but for now i guess ill just stick with Hip Hop

Rhymes need polishing.

But thats beside the point. What instrumental is this?

- P.

I'm in love...

...I actually wrote one long ass review but decided to delete all my rambling and keep this to the point. Fucking sick beat, got the right elements for a quality song. This is begging for some lyrics.

Yo when I first heard this beat..

..I was thinking "damn, this shit is mad ill... and I know that sample from somewhere". This was back in 2010 when I first heard this beat. Then a few weeks back I watched Tarantino's Jackie Brown again. This is that fucking anthem man! Great work bro!
