wuz good flashmac! this was a tight battle. i agree with bill, this is some of ya best shit right here man. check out the comment i left on bleek's track, it has my full analysis on the battle.
but to sum it up, it basically said yall should go to round two, cuz i felt its a tie.
a few constructive criticisms for ya beat man. i thought it was straight fire first of all. u did well in the verse, but i felt it was way too overpowering in the hooks. the complexity of all the melodies put together made it sound a lil jumbled up. there are a few producers on this site who do that, one particularly infamous one, i wont name him becuz the one im talkin about knows who he is and most people would know who im talkin about. anyway what im tryna say is dont follow in those footsteps becuz they can lead u into a dead end.
with the synths u used, just try to polish them up a tiny bit so they dont sound scratchy, and sound more smooth. if somebody rapped to this beat, the verse would be great, and u would hear their lines pefect, but they would be completely drowned out in the hook. EQing needs a lil bit of work.
but man, if u keep improving at the rate u are every time u drop a beat, u will be a hip hop NG producing legend!

I totally agree with what you said about the chorus. I'm dunno why, but they always end up to loud (I have like 6 instruments on it, lol). As for a second round, I'm down for another round, but I think we should some more votes first. Thanks for the great review man. I appreciate it.

ima hav to say for yall to go round two. i felt that flashmac's had a bit more hype but it was too overpowering in the hook. i like this one cuz its nice and laid back, sounds a lil more proffessional too wit ya experience on the beat.
and mercury, since this aint a hostile beat battle, i dont think the tracks need to sound like battle trax. in these frendly battles they should be like this, laid back, chill. well they can be however the producer wants really, its better tht way for frendly battles.
i suggest if u do this again next time, yall should pick a genre to compete in for the battle so the beats can be compared a lil better. when the genres involved are completely different, then its hard to judge a beat up against another.
i like listening to these frendly battles man, keep em comin if anybody is game to step up to u. haha.
