Thanks, P. Yeah, Now that I have better instruments and understand the logic behind FL and effects and stuff, I've been able to do more. Really spent a lot of time learning the science behind mixing/mastering too. I'm glad it seems to be paying off! :)

I completely disagree with the cat below. Dude needs to study up on his Hip Hop. There aint no "incongruity" about this beat... its just got mad swing on the sample. I personally think this is a dope beat. That last kick in the drum sequence is kinda off putting but dope. Maybe it should just have that delayed slide like once every 4 to 8 bars or something instead just so the beat can ride a little smoother. I'm actually very disappointed this only goes for 1:34. Would love to have a beat like this on my EP.

Version 3! I think you got the mix right this time, went back and listened to the other two and this seems the most balanced. The biggest difference seems to be the EQ of the snare? Not too sure because the more times I listen to each one to compare, the more I confuse myself. Always thought the beat was dope from the very first release though.
